Your memory is yours, and leaving is as easy as staying. You can delete your Maren account and everything in it: from inside the app, or by asking us, without installing anything.
Open Maren, go to Settings → Delete account, confirm, and your account and its server-side data are destroyed right away. This can't be undone.
If you can't or don't want to open the app, email privacy@marenhq.com from the email address on your account and tell us you'd like your account deleted. We use the matching email to verify the request is really yours. We'll complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying it, and confirm when it's done.
Everything tied to your account:
Deletion is permanent: we can't recover your memory after it's gone. If you want a copy first, export everything from the app (Settings → Export) before you delete.
After deletion we don't retain anything needed to rebuild your memory. Limited records that the law requires us to keep, for example a payment or tax record held by a payment processor (Stripe, Apple, or Google) for a completed purchase, may persist in those systems for the period the law requires. These never contain your memory content.
If you run Maren locally on your own machine without a Maren account, there's nothing on our servers to delete: your data lives only on your device, and deleting the app (or its data folder) removes it.
